He was one of the most overrated runners ever, never amounted to anything more than a sideshow who ran his mouth more than anything else.

I lived in Canada but went to Central Tech. I ran in the most competitive 110MH Hurdle race in High school when I raced against Chris Nelloms and Tyrone Wheatley at the Mansfield relays in 1989 I came 3rd to those 2. Tyrone broke the 3rd hurdle in the final. I met them again at Keebler but there were some other Hurdlers from Texas, California and Florida. They still finished 1 and 2.
